Entrusted: Women in God's Redemptive Plan

For generations, the accounts of women in the Bible have often been overlooked, misunderstood, or disconnected from the larger biblical narrative. But what if these stories are far more central than we’ve been led to believe?

In Entrusted: Women in God’s Redemptive Plan, Bible teacher and author Jamie Hulker offers a compelling, narrative-driven exploration of women in the Bible and their vital roles in God’s unfolding story.

Drawing on material from her award-winning Bible study Esteemed: God and His View of Women and her extensive teaching, Hulker brings together biblical, historical, and literary insights to present a cohesive and accessible biblical-theological account. This is not a traditional workbook—it is a narrative journey through Scripture that helps readers see familiar passages with fresh clarity.

Tracing the arc of Scripture from Creation to the early church, Entrusted highlights both well-known and often-overlooked women in Scripture—including Eve, Tamar, the daughters of Zelophehad, Rahab, Jael, Huldah, Mary, Mary Magdalene, and more. At pivotal moments in the biblical narrative, God entrusted these women with roles that were essential to His redemptive plan.

As their accounts unfold, readers will

• gain a deeper understanding of God’s design from the beginning,
• see how women are woven into the fabric of God’s redemptive work,
• discover how literary and historical context illuminate the meaning of Scripture, and
• develop a richer understanding of the Bible as one unified story.

This is not a reimagining of Scripture—it is a return to it.

When we read these accounts as they were meant to be read, we don’t just see women in the Bible more clearly—we see God more clearly.

Written for all who long to know more about God and His view of women, Entrusted is ideal for churches, Bible study, discipleship, book clubs, and personal spiritual growth.
